School Therapist
Hello!
My name is Jennalee Schafer, and I am excited to introduce myself as the contract School Therapist at PAA this year.
A little bit about me: I was born and raised in Lacombe, Alberta. I attended CHCS from Kindergarten through Grade 9 and then PAA from Grades 10–12, so it is especially meaningful for me to return and support this school community.
After high school, I attended Walla Walla University for two years and then completed my Bachelor of Social Work through the University of Calgary in 2012. I spent 10 years working as a School Social Worker with Wolf Creek Public Schools. In 2023, I completed my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. I currently work at Black Counselling & Consulting Services Ltd., a private practice with office locations in Lacombe and Red Deer.
Therapy Services at PAA
Jennalee will generally be at PAA on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. School therapy services are covered by the school, so there is no cost to students or families.
